I touch you

Aria Pahari
A visual poem; the lines are criscrossed atop each other like sticks thrown in a pile. The lines of the poem read: I cannot tell where you start and the … begins. I touch you and you turn into a pile of leaves on the bed. On the bed, a pile of leaves. A gradual smother of certainty. Therapists’ in my certainty when I say I can not breathe past. A structure not built to handle wind will not handle wind. A structure not built to withstand wind will withstand wind. A structure not built to handle wind will not wind.
