David Joez Villaverde

David Joez Villaverde holds an MFA from the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan. A CantoMundo fellow, he has received honors from the American Academy of Poets, Best New Poets, Hayden's Ferry Review, and Black Warrior Review. His poetry has appeared in Kenyon Review, New England Review, AGNI, and FENCE, and is forthcoming in The Adroit Journal, Poetry Northwest, and Ninth Letter.
